was the show you mention below at the edge about 4 years ago?
if so, i was there, and wow, i thought the opening act (some
mc and a dj) sucked ass at the time. it must have been, 'cause
now that i think of it, it was drum&bass/jungly stuff (which i
still don't like much even now). i remember the entire audience
booing them, and sitting down, refusing to dance. we were waiting
for soul coughing to come on, and it seemed as though the
opener went on forEVER.
it seemed a poor choice of opening acts, but when i heard
'el oso' i understood why they'd been chosen. and el oso
is definitely my least favorite soul coughing album.
